To me this song is an ode to friendship/companionship and the comfort we feel from listening to music we share with each other. We may be distant but the sound of a record reminds us of that person that all of the sudden appears in our hearts and tells us everything will be ok. We may be mourning, sad, or struggling for some reason, but when for a moment we focus on those old songs, keeping the everyday noises out, we all of the sudden forget the pain we feel and only hear the blood pulsing in our veins and that's like hearing Cathedrals organ concertos. . And when our friend finally appears blinking in that light, their presence comforts us and by then every tear we've cried becomes something as beautiful as a waterfall. . Everything negative we're experiencing becomes something positive not a stumbling rock, but a stepping stone to help us grow and reach higher.
