And with the "and the rain will kill us all" I think it should be reign that makes more sense think about it later on they are talking about the oil and the drilling in the middle east (Desert) I think it makes way more sense for reign, the only thing that would make sense with rain would be like pollution and acid rain with I don't think that care about.
