"Number One with a bullet, I'm a power pack"? What the heck is he saying. I wish I could come up with a meaning for this song. As it is one of my favorites musically. But cheeeze. I'm stumped. As for the rest of the song, I'm pretty sure he is just happy to be wearing his favorite black t-shirt. Maybe he just did his laundry after a long tour or vacation. Hopefully he used that color retaining detergent. Otherwise, it's probably more of a grayish color than true black.

Don't get me wrong, I love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I've been a big fan for a long, long time. But I do have some issues with this song. Yeah, I have definitely have to disagree with Tom on this one. Coming down is not the hardest part of the flying process. I received my pilots license 4 years ago from a prominent aviation school here in Connecticut after months and months of training. From all of that experience, I can honestly say, the hardest part is setting the plane to "Auto-Pilot" and getting that coffee pot going in that small compartment behind the cockpit. If Tom could somehow fit that into the song lyrically. Maybe something like "I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings, Auto-Pilot control setting, is the hardest thing". Boy, that would be great! Not to mention 100% accurate.

Okay, okay. I lied. I never had a girlfriend named Tanya. Ok, ok. I've never had a girlfriend, period. Truth be told, I'm obsessed with Dave Grohl. His posters adorn every wall, ceiling, mirror, door, window of my house. I just wanted to post something cool so that the girls at school would think I was a bad-a* like Dave Grohl.
