When I first heard this song I loved it. I do like other fray songs too. But then I listened to the lyrics more closely, and to me it sounds like this:
the guy's girlfriend leaves him, and he feels terrible. When he's "lying on the ground" he had commited suicide, and "you found me" tells me that the girl felt guilty but when she visited him she was "just a little late." I know there are a lot of ways this song could be taken, but this is just how I see it.
