I didn't know Vanden Plas existed until an hour ago. This song, and its video, appear to be somehow related to the Antikythera Mechanism (the artifact in the Greek National Museum), BT's The Antikythera Mechanism (the song which is about as far as you can get from this one genre-wise), and Kikotsu no Haibi (my own story which is similarly related to The Antikythera Mechanism's music video depicting a cube constructing a city, and which could be described in several senses as a hole in the sky - the only location on Earth in its context over which clouds form, the ultimate in air defense, and founded by a supersonic vertical impact.) This "somehow related" now stretches between Haibane Renmei, Doom 3, incorporates much of Disturbed's album "Indestructible", Cascada's "Perfect Day" (the song, not the entire album) and the Matt Redman song "Never Onc"e. The story is called "FHD Remix: Three Worlds In One". My discovery of this music video was due to a chance encounter on the Kerbal Space Program subreddit which is certainly not somehow related.
