Ok, so I absolutely love this song but it makes no sence to me in a way- it's like she's speaking to Edward but it would make more sense in the first of New Moon when he leaves her in the forest as far as she thought she knew him and how they got there, the not reading her mind makes sense but not the making fools of theirselfs? Don't get it. It would've been better in New Moon, it's a shame Paramore didn't want to do anything in New Moon.

Woah, this song is incredible and I agree with claire3000. I love Twilight but I also adore Paramore. This song has more to it than just Twilight.
I think the meaning of the song is; knowing someone to the fullest then somehow, you just don't know them at all. It's about love that someone could kill for.
How can I decide what's right, when you're clouding up my mind;
This part is relating to when Edward tells Bella to stay away from him but she can't decide if it's right to do it or not because all that's on her mind is Edward.
Obviously,
My thoughts you can't decode means that Edward can't read Bella's thoughts.

I kinda think this song was ment for new moon. Because in twilight there was no problem with their love to ask "how did we get here?" but in new moon when he leves her she's gotta be asking herself "how did we get here?" the only twiligty bits are: "What kind of man that you are - if you're a man at all" & "There is something i see in you it might kill me i want it to be ture" otherwise I'd say this song belongs in new moon.

I love this song. This was the second song of paramore I had herd. The first was pressure. But I think that paramore write good songs and they are a very cool band. I think that joshua farro is kinda cute. But not hot though, just cute. Paramore are so cool and every band member deserves to be in the band. Well done to paramore for all their hard work and god bless them.

I love this song! And paramore is an amazing band! Well, amazing is the best I can say bbecause I can't seem to find a more fitting adjective.
But, even though this song is in Twilight, I think it kind of fits Midnight Sun, too. "How can I decide what's right when you're clouding up my mind?". Edward knows that it would be wrong to be with Bella, and he knows that if they are together, she will die. But even then, he's already in love with her (and she hardly knows him) and he can't seem to stay away. And he always thinks he knows so much about her from trying to observe, but he's always wrong.
*I love twilight and I think stephanie meyer is a complete genius, but I honestly think the movie could have gone better with anyone other that Robert Pattinson. And there were a few bloopers in it, like the fact that you could see that he was wearing contacts, or that rosalie was wearing gloves.*

It's also about knowing someone very well and then suddenly not knowing them at all. " There is something I see in you.It might kill me.I want it to be true." means that there is something about you that can kill me or hurt me and you don't care as long as it is true. The song is amazing, and yes, moonflower and bffle333, it would be great if you kept the negative comments to yourself, the movie was wonderful (and of course the books were too) but just because you don't like it doesn't mean you need to post your thoughts here. I agree, all the screaming fan girls and fantisizers are quite annoying, but I have nothing against them. Who wouldn't fantasize about a cute actor/actress or scream when they see their idle? Anyways, this song is awesome :)

I'm not fan of paramore I think they don't have a define genre, however this song is awesome.
. It describe perfectly the movie and I agree with the comment of chosing some gothic artist for new moon soundtrack, like within temptation or even nightwish.
But please don't vote for pop artist because they don't have the right dark sense for this kind of movies, actually the poetic side needed for an authentic master piece of filming.

If you're going to try to defend Twilight, at least get your story straight. You have it all wrong.
Edward and Bella do not break it off, Edward leaves Bella because he thinks it's better for her.
Bella and Jacob never go out, and she doesn't 'break up' with him because he's a werewolf. He has to pretend that he doesn't like her anymore because he can't tell her that he's a werewolf because he isn't allowed by the pack leader.
Bella does not fall in love with Jacob when he teaches her how to drive her truck, which is not new. It is Jacob's father's old truck, he bought used in the 60's.
She realizes that she loves him during Eclipse, the third book, and still chooses Edward.
And don't call things you think are facts your 'opinion', because they're just incorrect facts, and it makes you sound like an incompantent third grader.

The fist two oarts are like a mental battle wit emotions. The third is when that puzzle peases are being put together. The forth, is trying to get the secret that she already knows out, yet the other person can't read her mind, hence the verse "my thoughts you can't decode". The next few parts are with confusion and trying to figure things out. Then the last part, "there is somthing i see in you. " = there is a secret. "it might kill me" = that secret might kill her or but her in harms way. "i want it to be true. " = she doesn't care if she gets hurt from this 'secret' and that she has already fallen for that person. Well that's what I think.

This song. I agree its more for new moon (for more reasons than one) he's always negative. At first, he was the shinning hero but then, it all fades away into an abyss of total darkness, don't know him anymore the way he acts as if he wishes he'd never met. Jus don't know him anymore he makes it so its always a losing fight pure sorrow. He then steals stuff and leaves.
However, then this sort of traditional (yes even more traditional than he) guy or shall I say he sees himself as a wolf conforts and even seems as a kind of healer. She tries to forget the past and move on, but some hole is there, that he cannot fill. All at the time, the other guy is aimlessly wandering the streets only accompanying him blissful death visions.

Well out of order does have a point though it does take it abit far couse allbeit twilights book was good and the movie was done at the wrong time if they had waited the movie would have been better and their music does sond good and makes sense to atleast most people. Plus as renesmee said paramore did do a good job with twilight. And hayley from paramore is a bit obbsessive of twilight. As she said on tv when her songs came out.

It really bugs me when people only like this song because of Twilight. I love Twilight but this song is amazing with or without Twilight! Ugh. And also this was not made before Twilight dumies! Not their best song. But I still like it. I love the movie, but could've been better. If there weren't no screaming girls whenever the hot guys shows up! That troubled, and pissed me off. I thought the guys were hot, but I didn't scream. Okay, I pinched my friend to death, but no scream came out of my mouth. And the girls just won't stop talking in between every scene.

I actually agree with Jelko. The song doesn't fit perfectly even though Paramore wrote it for Twilight. One example is the line "When I used to know you so well" Bella and Edward are strangers when they first meet. Even when he comes and saves her and later in the woods, they barely know anything about each other. So this line doesn't fit. There are only trace elements of Twilight in this song when Hayley refers to blood and when she questions "if you're a man at all." Otherwise this song could fit any number of intimate relationships. Including those that do not involve vampires.
Its still a great song, and I still love it.

This song is perfect for twilight its speaking for both edward and bella they both don't know whats going since this a first love for both of them and both wishing they could read each other minds; Edward so he could find some doubt in her mind about being with him to make easier for both them and just leave her alone even though there isn't, though he would hate to leave; Bella so she can just figure him and not always be left in the dark with him even though he's says he loves her she feels how can if he's this amzing creature and if he's always wishing he was strong enough to leave.

You know someone and they become something so important to you and then all the sudden as time passes you just don't know them anymore maybe to the point where you just can't stand them but you can't stand that possibly being true even more so you just hope and wonder how and why and its just so mind boggling and such a desire to fix but you can't. They have to. And you realize that everything that you did to be there and try to help that you were so dumb and blind a "fool". Which makes it all the worse. I agree with breakingdawn. The movie was great. This song is great but mike and Jessica were annoying the hell out of me. I just wanted to punch them in their retarded looking faces. I also think Robert is a horrible actor. He played the role slightly well for being a new actor I suppose. But he could have done way better. It also has to do with being completely obsessed with the books, and hes not what I pictured Edward to look like at all. Not only that, but he made Edward seem really cheesy instead of a crazy in love manly man. Hmph. Oh well. Can't wait for new moon & eager to see how they make Jacob's transformation look. Exciiiting.

I am a guy who read the books after my girlfriend told me about them and I ended up looking similar to Edward Cullen before I even read them (What are the odds of that). Me and my gfs relationship is going just how the book describes Edward and Bellas'. It's scary how I quoted him before I read the books. Hellaciosly good books though.

This song relates to Bella and Edward so well I think all of Paramore's songs relate to Twilight! This song reminds me of Edward not being able to read Bella's mind! And of course, in the last part. The "There is something I see in you, it might kill me, I want it to be true" part reminds me so much of how Bella discovers that Edward is a vampire!

Twilightsagalover, trust me, I am a way bigger Twilight Fan then you. I have every item, plus clothing and shoes, that they have made from Twilight. Plus, I have all first copies of the books and all of them are signed by the author and I fell in love with it before it was a movie. Also, I have all the posters and I have pre-order, and already gotten, the figures of the characters from the book/movie. I also got a copy of the first 12 chapters of the new book that Might come out, Midnight Sun.
You think I'm lying? Then you can email the author yourself and ask her yourself.

I love this song, but I don't think it was right for ther story of the film, and especially the book. I have read them all. And the song has no meaning for edward and bella's love. This is about breakups and bad things in a relationship, when clearly there is nothing wrong with edward and bella's [[apart from the danger of it going wrong]] I think taylor swift - love story would have been the perfect song for the movie.
