I need to Break Away and I don't need to ever give up. I love this song because it shows how we can do so much and we just need to never give up. No matter what people say to us. We can do it no matter what. I like this song also because it fits perfectly in the movie The Princess Diaries. It shows how even though she didn't know she was a princess she gave it her all and at tje end she became queen of Genovia, she never gave up, she did loose hope but there were people behind her that believed in all that she could do and that she would make a great ruler. I love thiw song Breakaway.

To me this song, is how someone feels like they don't belong where they were raised, hence, "wanted to belong here, but something felt so wrong here," and how one must do whatever it takes to find true happiness by being who they want. In order to do that, they have to breakaway from their "small town" and be someone grander and shine. However, you must not forget the people you love and the place you come from.

One word. Awesome! This number has been my favorite from the 1st day I learnt that the first American Idol, Kelly Clarkson has sung it, until now. It's enough to boost anyone's morale up. . I love this song will continue to love it. Gives me goose bumps every-time I listen to it!

I love this song so much from start to finish. I grew up in a very tiny town and I felt like I was being held back due to the town being so small I would often pray that I could leave and do what I felt call to do. I didn't have the "small town" mentality and didn't fit in at all. The song keeps reminding me that I can be whatever I want to be and don't have to stay where I grew up.

This song is about, in my opinion, finding your dreams. When it says "grew up in a small town", it could refer to the fact that she wasn't exposed to much. Then she says later on about not able to belong, which means that she couldn't find her purpose(s). She says she will spread her wings and learn how to f! Y, which means what she sang next. Then the song states about doors and floors, as you climb up and open opportunities for your life and dreams. Then it says breakaway, meaning it's time to live my life, for fill my dreams, and do whatever I set my mind to.

According to me, it's like you are in a situation which you don't like, and you're doing your best to get out of it in order to move on. So that's why she says "take a risk,take a chance,make a change and break away". And when she says "out of the darkness and into the Sun", it seems to me that she was in a world of lies, but now she is in a truth one. Or maybe she needed someone else's wings to fly, but now she's got her own. Or maybe she was in very bad situation which is the symbol of "darkness", and that now she's in a better one. And no matter how far she goes, she knows where she came from and won't forget all the people who took part in the process of the dream that she had which comes true.
