    I have a guy friend, he's really cute. When my friend and I are still new to the team, he was the first one to help and welcome us, we became good friends eventually, we go out a lot, dine a lot. We used to be teased by our teammates which made us uneasy and we tried to avoid each other. But later on, they grew tired, and we got close again. Even closer. Exchanging ideas, things that interest us both, communicating. We've come almost like bestfriends. I don't know how to say it but, he made me love him more because we're just friends. I feel more secured in our relationship, I know we'll stay together than we'll ever be if we had become lovers :)

    Finding the Love that completes you takes time. Specific time. And in time, that Love that completes you becomes your best friend, in a way that they nor anyone could have ever been before.
    This song relates those two such Lovers across not only time, but for now also a distance that they endure.     I'm in love with my best friend. But he likes one of my friends (I think so, I'm not sure). And it makes hurts me a lot. He is very kind. He cares for me like a brother, he chatted with me when I was sad, he adviced me when I lost my way. But as you see, he likes another, not me. How can I forget him. Please give me some advise. My Y!     I am deeply inlove with my bestfriend for more than 3 years. It is incomparable with anything else in this world. I'm willing to be her bestfriend forever. I long for more but if this longing would bring me nothing but her everlasting absence I'd rather die without her knowledge of my true feelings. Her presence is enough to sustain my very existence. Shes's my only hope for survival. Without her life is going to be meaningless. I just hope someday she'd realize how hard it is for me to contain my feelings from my aching heart which is bursting to be expressed. I'll carry on as long as I know that she and will always be around. I would be willing enough to give myself up for immortality just to watch her sleeping every night. I love her unconditionally. I love her for no reason and I think that's reason enough.

    I was and still in love with my best friend. We have been best friend since we was in secondary one- till Secondary Five. But because I was totally focused in my future, I lost him. I neglected him. I miss him so much. I still miss his presence. Hope one day he reads this, I only want to say that I love you and I miss you so much. I think he has move on, but do I deserve a second chance?

    A good guy friend and I were chilling, singing this as a duet along to his ipod. I love singing and have always been really good at it. He thinks his voice is horrible and purposefully sings off key a lot when he's with me. This is the first song I've heard him actually make an effort to sing. He is definitely not a horrible singer and this song showed how much he really does care.

    This song is sooo cute! My bestfriend (well, not actually my bestfriend but my very, very, close friend) asked me what would I say if a bestfriend or a close friend of mine confess his love for me. And then I explained my reaction. And I think he's on the verge of confessin' to me but idk why he didn't. But he gave a hint and said I'm inlove with your voice. Then I was like. Hmm. Lucky is my voice! Haaha. Then he said wish you were your voice and I didn't respond to it I just laughed. And he seemed pretty serious when he said it. I wish he confess soon.

    I can really relate to this song. It's all about realizing how your boyfriend / girlfriend is your best friend too and how lucky it is to have that with the same person. It's also about having a long distance relationship, which can be trying at times.
    My boyfriend and I live over 2000 miles apart but have been together for almost two years now. These lyrics apply to me so much, especially this line:.

    I wish we had one more kiss. "
    Every time I have to leave and am getting ready to head to the airport, I always want to just hug him or kiss him one more time.

    My husband and I met in China, when I was there for college. I was from Taiwan, and he's from the States. We started out as friends but we had strong feelings for each other even thought we had only known each other for a week, he left then cause he was there with a school trip. After months of communication online, he went back to China to learn Chinese and Sculpture, it didn't really work out for his dream of learning art there, but the 2 months he was there made our love came true. He is my best friend and my most romantic lover. We are most happily married even though it has been about 3 years since we fell for each other. We have a sweetest and cutest daughter in the world, and a loving family. Now we are apart again, he's in the Navy training school. There has been a lot separation in our relationship (out of environment), but it never weaken our love but made it even stronger. This morning I saw the music video on vh1, it really touched my heart, cause it is exactly how I feel about us. :)

    Yeah. It took me a long time before I realize that I'm in love with my bestfriend. I just want to be with him. But unfortunately he's in love with somebody else. And everytime I listen to his story, it kills me over and over again. Now their relationship is over I don't know if I will going to be happy seeing him hurting so much. He's sweet to me but I'm not pretty sure of his real feeling. Maybe he's just doing it just to ease the pain so what can I do? Every time he does sweet things I keep on falling even deeper.

    Hey, darkgethsemanian13, I just wanted to say, hang in there. I know what ur going through. I'm in love with my best friend and everyday I have to listen to her stories about whats going on with her and her bf. It kills me everytime I see them together; her face is so happy. But I would never complain, or trade my happiness for hers. All you can do is be there for her forever, as long as she needs you, and remember that just being able to be her friend is a reward in itself.

    This song is very true to me. He's my best buddy for the past month we had been friends and I think I'm falling for him. I know he's already loved me but the problem is we are seas apart so we'll never get to the point in the song where in the guy gets to meet his beloved bestfriend. But I just love the song. No matter what, I listen to it all the time and memorized the lyrics. Way to go jason -- muahh.!

    First time I listened to this song I didn’ t think it made any sense, months went by and I met a wonderful guy who became my best friend and slowly feelings became stronger and stronger more than just friendship and then I realize I was falling in love with my bestfriend and now when I listen to this song it makes perfect sense. I am very lucky to be in love with my best friend! Thank you God.

    Jason Mraz is one of the most magical artist so far!. Not only the beat but also the meaning the each of his songs reveal can really touch your heart and you can definitely relate to it and dance and sing with the beat. Awesomenesss!
    This song is all about being in love with a best friend and that is what I think is the sweetest thing ever!. I mean being in love with someone whom you least expected you'd fall in love with, who knows you so badly and understand you the most is just the best thing any person would ever ask for!.

    And now after I confess what is my true feelings for him. I guess its too late because he's already committed to somebody else. He told me that he also loves me too but I guess that love was not enough for us to take the risk. What I hate about him he lets me feel that I'm important to him even though he is not really sure of what he really feels.!

    I can really relate to the song. I was in love with my bestfriend and I'm glad he felt the same way for me too. :) I was so hapee. He started courting me and I said yes to him last Sept 20, 2008. It was also the time that my ex and me would celebrate our first anibersari but sadly we didn't meet that date but happily too, I'm formally taken by my ever beloved bestfriend. Hes such a g*. But I love him.

    I love the song!, actually I'm still in love with my bestfriend. He's married with three kids tho'. But I can't seem to get over him. He is my bestfriend til now. I just hope that we can keep the friendship forever. I can never find somebody who would replace him. I'd grow old alone maybe but he's all I want for all my life. Promise I will wait, I will.

    Really? Me too. Boys always cheated on woman and woman always get used by them. I am a rich woman and had everything. But he flirt with another woman. I have yellow high heeled shoes. They costs 254000$. But one day one of those shoes was lost. I didn't know where it had gone and yet I found it on her leg! It's crazy. How come she put on shoes with different colors every leg? Please someone answer this crazy stuff.

    I really hate that song. It remember me of someone who had loved me before but he left me now for another woman. What a damn thing I ever had in my life! I don't think he useful.
