    As Billie Joe said, this song is a "call to arms"
    It is the second part of the album's story, right after 21st Century Breakdown.
    In this song, Christian is in revolt. He's stopped fighting his inner demons for the time being, using the energy to fight his oppression. He's resorted to violence in his one-man revolution (violence is an enregy Against the enemy), and he thinks that silence will work against him, so he makes sure everyone knows where he stands.
    *The insurgency will rise When the bloods been sacrificed Don't be blinded by the lies In your eyes* he's saying that people have to realize what's really going on, and realize they're being lied to and controlled. He even plainly says "give me, give me revolution". The story continues into! Viva La Gloria!.
