    I have been divorce for 4 years now and raising 3children under the age of 10and times get hard for me but I have to put my faith in him and I have to let go and let god do his work so that I can receive the many blessings from him. I have prayed that he make me a stronger woman and he is everyday. Thank you my father in heaven.

    I had just left the hospital and driving home when a gospel song played on Pandora. I can't remember that song, but the following song was "Let go". I had never heard this song before, nor was I familiar with Dwayne Woods. And as long as I've been listening to Pandora, I have never heard a gospel song played back to back. Note, I was listening to an R&B Pandora station. Both my brother and mother are being challenged with medical issues, serious issues right now. I'm the oldest of my mother's two children and I feel like I've been hit with a ton of bricks. As soon as I heard, "I couldn't seem to fall asleep, there was so much on my mind", and "Searching for that peace, but that peace I could not find", I felt like the lord was speaking directly to me. How many nights have I sat in bed unable to close my eyes? How many times have I gone over the issues over and over in my head. I cried and prayed to the lord, "Lord I can't do this by myself". And after listening to the lyrics, I realized, I was never meant to handle or go this alone. That's when I let go, and let GOD!! My God is a merciful God. He is the light! It means, we should hand over all our fears, all our doubts, and trust in him to deliver us from all that is troubling us. Trust in the lord, and everything is going to be alright!

    It means that you surrender to will and way of god. Often times, this only happens after we have totally exhausted every option that we know of in our on power. However, if we knew what was best for us, we'd realized that surrender to god 1st eases the burden because you're totally resting and trusting in jesus as a baby is resting and trusting in the comfort of their parents.

    I'm sixteen years old and I love this song this song is my testimony and to me this song means if you stop worrying about all your troubles and tribulations and the stuff you went through in the pass and just trust the lord he can and will do some amazing things in your life he says it in the song let go and let god it can't get any simple then this.

    It's not my battle it is the Lord. Each day, we have to remind ourselves no matter what we are going through that we need to focus on the Lord. Thank you God for loving us unconditionally. For loving us more than we love ourselves and continue waiting for us to surrender to your will. God is awesome!

You now need to forgive yourself of your past sins let all that go.     This song reminds me of my life and what I gone threw and I tried to do it by myself but god said so let go and let me handle this and all I have to do is let god work it and ill be good then there may be some trials I'm going to go threw but with god all I have to do is let god and everything will be alright.

    This song just reminds me that if I am going to pray then I don't need to worry. If I insist on worrying, then I shouldn't pray! When I pray, I am trusting god to handle my problems. And if I put it in his hands then what more is there for me to? So when I let go and let God, I am trusting in him to do what he sees fit. Whether I see the reason or not, I know that whatever he does it is for my best benefit since I am his child. I may not understand it now, but I will one day.

    My meaning is exactly what it says let go let god! This is my motto in life. I tried doing things my way or wanting things done right now! But every time it never worked. But when I learned to let go and let god what a change was made. We have to realize He knows best. And as my grandma use to say he may not come when we want him but he's always right on time!

    Hi I'm mercia, I live in the west indies on a small 35square mile island"let go" has inspired me so much when I was going through one of what I thought were the most difficult times in my life, just reading his story, the story behind the song it showed me, it helped me see that if god can erase "aids" there is nothing too hard for him to do. When I found this song I was going through a stage in my life where doctors said there was no hope, but this song was like a rope that I saw to grab a hold to and gradually I began to climb and get my health back. The enemy has come not but to steal, kill and destroy but jesus said that he has come to give us eternal life. What dewayne says is so true sometimes god is just there waiting for us to let our situation go, so he can take it. You know sometimes we can help others and give advice in their calamities but when it hits home it's the testimonies and encouragement of others that helps us. I am currently in a battle for my health but I know that god has done it before and he can take this away. I give him thanks everyday just the fact that am alive. He is so merciful and he will never put more on us than we can bear. ' this sickness is not unto death 'for I know that god is a healer. Pray for me as I continue press on in faith and encourage others. I pray that these words help you in some way. Before I go I also wanna say that when are in the will of god and you step out sometimes you do and don't make it back in. Stay in god. Trials may come but he will keep you. God bless you!
