blink-182 – I Miss You lyrics

I want to give justice to the meaning of the song. I might not be accurate but this is how I understand it.
The angel from the nightmare might mean the artist is in a difficult situation when he met her. When you're depressed and you've found someone who can understand you, you will see that person as an angel. He furthers this view by saying 'the shadow in the background of the morgue'. I will go to the literal meaning - if you're in a morgue, it means you're surrounded by nothing but corpses. Then you saw a shadow it means there's someone around that is still alive - which gives hope.
The artist however hinted that he is an unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley (which might refer to the valley of the dead), which might mean something unexpectedly terrible will happen.
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want. Where you can always find me and we'll have Halloween on Christmas, and in this night we'll wish this never ends. This might refer to a promise to the artist given by the same angel he's referring to. The Jack and Sally is a reference to Nightmare before Christmas movie where they celebrate Christmas on November. The reversion might be for artistic purposes because 'we'll have Christmas on Halloween' doesn't sound good if you used it in the lyrics.

The second verse is the revelation of what happened in the relationship.
The sorry meant that the artist doesn't want to bother her anymore however he's in agony because of their separation. When you got used to sleeping with someone special, you start having difficulty in sleeping when that person is not with you. How much more if you know that you will not see that person again.
The artists needs someone to be with (and will stay) because the darkness makes him sick and feel strange.
The spider web catching things eating their insides is just a metaphor of the sickening feeling of being stuck between the loneliness of being left behind (will you come home and stop this pain tonight) and the pain of being betrayed (hear your voice of treason).

In the chorus however, the artist made up his mind and just tell her (might not be direct but just within his mind) that she no longer need to waste her time to do any effort because the former still loves her so much, to the point that whatever he does she will never be gone from his memory (the voice inside my head).

The song tells about the beginning of one lover's tale and the end of another lover's tale because of cheating women. The language in the song suggests that where the second relationship is ended by a cheating lover which creates darkness, the other relationship begins by a lover through darkness.

My boyfriend, went and left me the other day, for no good reason, only thing he could tell my friend was that, I was better off without him. I have not stopped listening to this song. I was dating my boyfriend for almost two years, june 3, would have been our second anniversary. I miss him. But I think this song means that, this person misses someone soo much, it feels like there always there.

Have you ever missed someone so much you can smell them, you want them so badly that everytime you close your eyes all you see is them, have you? Have you ever felt so strongly about someone that your heart almost stops seriously it starts to beat slow not fast when your with them, have you ever felt like dying when your not with that person, that is how I feel right now, shes in paris and I'm in kenya.

Pretty much it means they miss someone they lost and that they really want them back and its killing them on the inside to know that they are gone and they may not see or ever get them back again so they decided to write a song about it and well maybe it worked maybe it didn't.

I miss you means the one whome I really love and care a lots had gone far away from me and still my minds stick with the moments we share together in the passed times. Love you devika and I miss you a lots. Every night I remeber you and cried a lots. Love you baby still waiting in the path where ur image will be return back for my broken heart.
