Al Wilson – The Snake lyrics
On her way to work one morning
Down the path along side the lake
A tender hearted woman saw a poor half frozen snake
His pretty colored skin had been all frosted with the dew
"Oh well," she cried, "I'll take you in and I'll take care of you"
"Take me in oh tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in oh tender woman, " sighed the snake

She wrapped him up all cozy in a curvature of silk
And then laid him by the fireside with some honey and some milk
Now she hurried home from work that night as soon as she arrived
She found that pretty snake she'd taking in had been revived
"Take me in, oh tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in oh tender woman, " sighed the snake

Now she clutched him to her bosom, "You're so beautiful," she cried
"But if I hadn't brought you in by now you might have died"
Now she stroked his pretty skin and then she kissed and held him tight
But instead of saying thanks, that snake gave her a vicious bite

"Take me in, oh tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in oh tender woman, " sighed the snake

"I saved you," cried that woman
"And you've bit me even, why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I'm going to die"
"Oh shut up, silly woman," said the reptile with a grin

"You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in
"Take me in, oh tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in oh tender woman, " sighed the snake

In a recent rally in New Hampshire, President Trump compared illegal immigration to “The Snake” using lyrics from a song by Al Wilson. This metaphor of a snake can as well apply to him and to Satan. Read Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 and Genesis 3 to see what I mean.

This song warns you that 1) no matter how innocent things seem they can still have negative connotations but the most deep meaning is 2) when you get with someone that is bad and then they screw you over, you need to remember... you knew walking in the door with them that they were bad news so don't act all surprised when they do you dirty...they are after all A SNAKE and a snake is gonna act like a snake no matter how kind you are.

Muslims are actually kind people and very much like Christians. They would never overcharge anyone for a service, and are humble in every way. I can’t say the same for India, people. They have purchased all the real estate and businesses in North America, and as a result, it’s falling apart. Homelessness everywhere. Do you think you white people are stupid they buy it all from you guys and then allow you to starve and be homeless. They are Masters of astrology, and will use it to manipulate in cheat you. Muslim people do not do that period of course, they had PTSD, because their country has been attacked, and under war.

Does the name Oscar Brown ring a bell out there anywhere? Fine poet, and a very interesting man.
I recall another fable where the poison filled creature answers the question "Why?" saying, "Because it is my nature."
I do not have anything else to add to add to add. Sorry.

Your reputation goes before you. If it is of violence, deceit, harm, criminality you should not be welcomed.
The snake was like a the saying - ' A wolf in sheep's clothing ' Meaning you are not what you seem. You cannot be trusted. It is referring to what is happening in various parts of the world to-day - the horrific attacks on innocent people.

It's an allegory for allowing muslum refugees to enter your country unvetted. There are beliefs that are not ever going to be compatible with ours. This can be seen in areas where immigrants revert to traditional beliefs like Sharia law. Ask a devout Muslim if their beliefs Trump the US Constitution. If they would ignore the Constitution when it is at odds with their religious beliefs.

Today these lyrics are a clear reference to mohammads islamic hijrah playing out on the west as used by the great d trump. Beware the islamofascist's, who have sucked in a complicit left that shall see the end of democracy in the west. Beware the snake indeed. See Christopher Hitchens.
