He had a girl he loved at one time but he lost her. Now he's trying to find a new replacement "paper bird." He considers himself good at picking up women. That he ends up using as a drug to help him forget the pain, hence the line a pharmacist with wings. He tends to consider these women trophies for his friends but deep down he knows that he is actually using them as a drug to help him forget this long lost love, hence the lines "a pharmacist with wings" and "I'll take, these targets that I hit they can go on, my refrigerator for all my friends to see." I feel he eventually hopes to either reconnect with said girl or find a replacement.
