Emotional Abusive Relationship. "She eyes me like a pisces when I am weak" - Courtney took advantage of Kurt. "Meat eating orchids" - something beautiful but vicious. "Forever in debt to your priceless advice" - Kurt used to say this to Courtney to make her mad. Also, Courtney gave Kurt a heart-shaped box with things in it when they first started their relationship. However! There are many opinions on the meaning of this song. Some think it's about cancer, some believe it's about him thinking about committing suicide, and some think he was just spaced out when he wrote it. So, whatever. I'm just giving a meaning. Doesn't have to be right.

I think this is about a guy who was best friends with a girl who he fell in love with. Now, she's getting married to someone else, and he never got the chance to tell her about how he felt about her. When it says, "You left me", I think this means she won't be with him like old times, cause she has a husband to share her feelings with. He regrets he could never build up the courage to tell her he loved her, and now it's too late.
