Its like 'you and me against the world' presented in a more layman's flow of thoughts. Its not bad because the sole purity and basic level of the words used in the lyrics make it more appealing. Some may say its lame because we've heard the 'you and me against all odds' story in many songs but I think its brilliant because Alicia presented it in a sorta new way. Its soft background music highlights her nice voice. ^_^ I'm no pro and I'm just a plain music lover. But surely, anyone can see the song's uniqueness in a way.
