Its fairly simple what I understand of the song. Basically its about someone whos alone in a crowd of people happy colourful faces, emotionally attached to people and their own surroundings and he/she who is alone looking at them feeling aloof from such emotions but at the brink of realizing his being aloof is the cause of his loneliness thus "i could use somebody". Finally he/she sees someone who like the crowd is emotionally attached to someone or something but he/she is what that person fancies and his bubbles been penetrated by the emotion around him. And maybe that person hes noticing is his muse so "someone like you" but hes scared but that person is his muse and he wants to adopt it and now hes finally ready to be noticed. But the last line is a bit derailing. He might have had it might not. I guess that's a personal thing for each listener to make up.
