Sorta, erika, but not exactly. You gotta live through it to understand what it means to become a disappointment to someone that loved you. That someone claimed to live their lives for you. To love you unconditionally, uncontrollably. And to let that person down, not by being unfaithful, abusive, or otherwise mean to her, but just. Not live up to what they built you up to be. This song is, I believe, about that feeling. The feeling of having someone trust their heart to you, and, through no real abvious fault of your own, you destroy that trust. You destroy that love. Trust me, you gotta live it yourself to understand it.
