For me it's a great Communion meditation, rivaling even great praise composed by Thomas Aquinas. Translation: Hail, Oh hail, the true body of Him born of the virgin Mary, who truly suffered and was immolated on the cross for men, and whose side was pierced and from which flowed blood; Be for us a foretaste as we contemplate our death, yes, as we contemplate our death.
