Suffering. Boredom. Apathy. And utter lack. So often, we, as Christians try to get around these things in this life, not press through them. Jesus showed us how its done. He took no shortcuts. On the eve of His death, Jesus faced His accusers with no defense, except to answer what was written.
When one is feeling the most broken, perhaps this is the most "awake" one can ever be.
