This is a very good song. It is a good progression and story that could have been a whole album/cd or hour long. For me, a man who is 31 and single, the song has more meaning then in high school when I first heard it. I think the song is about the realization of a life outside that bag of water we call our body and outside that habitat we call home. It is up to us to go and get it. "Windows open wide" No worries about the past, we have something in each of us that pushes us into the messy world. The world is both within us -a part of us-, and we in it. "madness craves" "innocence takes flight" Whatever you think is bad about you, let it pass and bring the brightness of your goodness back already. "the hour has begun" Seek the brightness of your goodness no matter what, and tremble for your beloved always. "I tremble for my love always"
