It's just about a girl who is in love with a guy, and the guy is a serial heart breaker. Maybe he's so wonderful that girls just fall for him wherever he goes. Maybe he likes doing this to girls. She's not the only one who feels the same way. And then when she's finally over him, he comes back looking for her. Whether he will love her properly this time or just break her heart again, she's not prepared to take the risk. Pretty sure this song was actually written for me. Just experienced this exact same thing :( Feel like absolute efing s*t and just want to listen to Taylor Swift for the rest of my life. But I know I'll get over it. And it just makes you stronger.
