I hate this song so much, but only because it reminds a lot of what I went through. I've even written a different version of this to my best friend since we were little, only to know that he was murdered when I was going back to my hometown in Indonesia (I'm an Indonesian in sg). A few friends told me that he was defending my name against a few group of guys who was threatening me in some way. & I've felt guilty ever since, especially with his family, who some, hadn't the strength to even talk to me anymore. I've cried & hurt myself a lot, even went into a comma once. Still, I remember what we both talked about when we were really young. "If I died first, I'll definitely wait for you. & Maybe while waiting, I'd do my best to protect you from harm." It was his first death anniversary last week. & I'm still feeling guilty & sad, especially when my close G. Friends told me that he always did liked me, but he never wanted to destroy our friendship mroe than anything else.
