I agree its confusing. But at the same time it makes perfect sense. It about a long distance relationship. He misses her dearly and starts to realize all the things about why he loves her. And as he realizes this he feels better because he realizes he's deeply in love. Thinkn of her gets him through the day and the distance isn't such a big deal. At least shes always in his heart.
