Obviously, this song was written as a message to someone who wants to take their own life. Tyler says through the song that he's there for this friend and wants them to stay. He's determined to help them until they're okay again, even though they've stated already that they're fine. He's able to sympathize with them and to listen to them for as long as they need, as long as they stay alive. This "friend" could be an actual friend of Tyler's or it could be anybody who needs to hear this message.

Tyler's saying that there's something going wrong in his mind and he's trying to get rid of it. The music he makes isn't made to be a specific genre, but he's trying to fight said infestation. He's not trying to get any point across but to communicate which takes a big part in this battle he's fighting.
