I grew up with this music and these movies, the N. Y. C song was my favorite from a very young age. My dad used to sing it to me when I was a little girl. He told me once that this song was about following your dreams and not being trapped in life. Now that he's passed I listen to it and remember that my dad was the smartest man in the world with the best advice.
