Funny how all you Emo kids don't even know what this album is about. For the record, it is a concept album about a man dying of cancer. As in. Every song relates to his (ending) life. This song isn't about a simple breakup; it's not your middle-school pseudo-relationship melodrama. This is about a man who is confronting his former lover as she pulls away from him while he is dying. It's about losing his vitality and energy as he succumbs to death, and how his girl draws away from him as the basis of their relationship dissolves under the barrage of chemo.
