I don't breathe thru my lungs in this song. I breathe thru the wound. The wound caused by love lost. That love lost to me is my father, and though, like the song says, I've replaced him, I say I don't love him, when I'm alone, I anguishly cry for him, I have never stopped loving my dad, I adore him, I hated him without hating him. And everytime I breathe. It hurts. This song is about still hurting for the one you love yet denying it infront of your friends. Like I have. I love my father. Who's in jail. Breaks my heart everyday.
