The song stops short for me as well. I get the meaning that either it is "a" drug or something/someone that is represented that way that you can't get enough of. I don't know if any of you have had the problem or not but for me hooked on a drug is really like a screwed up bad relationship. That's after a couple of days listening. Maybe wrong but that is what I get from it.
