I think this song deals with the a struggle btwn lust and law.
The girl is young and undeniably capable, though at first this is questionable. He commits an act that he regrets and also knows that others will/do as well. Everyone except her. But this only causes distance btwn them. He wants something superficial and frequent while she wants more. She kinda clouds his judgement at times, even though he knows what he should and shouldn't be doing bc he's older.
