And my skin is burning with the fire of the world. Living in the world is alien to us as believers. It irritates us to live in the world (flesh).
Sometimes my eyes are tricking me. Reality is in the spiritual world. Not the physical world.

This chorus really speakes to my spirit. That is all I understand. The other references don't evoke any spiritual analogy for me.
