This song is about dumpster diving. It's portrayed as a good thing, an alternative to the wasteful consumerism of our days - something that "could feed the world"
Where the hell do you get the idea that "if you choose to go to this garbage dump by the sea it isn't for free because your soul is lost and it's like hell"?
"garbage" is a misnomer, which is why it repeatedly asks why it's called that.
