"Where is this second coming," mockers ask. Until that time, we must endure all that God allows us to encounter. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He tests us to prove our faith in Him. He knows us and all our sufferings. For He is not one who cannot sympathize with our sufferings since He Himself suffered greater than any of us. He gives freely. And yes, He does take away. Does that change who we are as children of His? For no matter what is happening in our lives, it will never change that He is who He is. I want to encourage anyone reading this that we don't praise Him because we suffer. It would seem senseless at the time. Ask anyone who has endured suffering. But we praise Him because He is God.
