Jesusfreak101. The "horrible standards" of today are nothing less than the expression of the freedom that Americans and technically all humans have when it comes to the expression of music. Music is full of similes, analogies and metaphors and usually consist of sentiments that people would normally stamp out and avoid. A song that talks about s** and "hittin it until tomorrow" may sound dirty to you or others but I personally believe the 'impurity' of the lyrics are the embodiment of the lack of inhibitions that comes with the unadulterated expression of music. Trust me, God wants you to be yourself, and he doesn't care that you think that other people that this song might be dirty. The opinions of every insignificant person at your church doesn't matter lol the relationship you have with God is between you and him.
