[pre chorus]
I cant blow the wind out of my face, like days ahead i wont escape. no one alone will keep up that pace. so dont throw out what you wont replace. another dilemma, just a phase. over it now, finally. i can be ok
Pre chorus - this whole section is very interesting but this is my idea. the phrase "i can't blow the wind out of my face” could probably mean a lot of things but the next phrase helps out with that. "like days ahead i won't escape." i was thinking, sometimes wind is gonna hit you, and you'd rather it just go away, the same way anything you don't expect can come out of nowhere. in this song it looks to me like Caleb is saying that life inside of music and in general can have difficulties. You've got to push through it, not try to stop or dodge the inevitable because it's useless. Just like trying to blow the wind out of your face. but that's for sure not all, the next line goes."no one alone will keep up that pace. so don't throw out what you won't replace." The only thing that would make sense is if Caleb is running against the wind, pushing through difficulties and trying to get far. There's a problem tho, he can't do it completely on his own and if he throws away friends, family, supporters and Jesus(i made sure he agreed with these) he’ll break, and fail. Because you won't find something to support and motivate you like these anywhere else so…”don't throw out what you what you won't replace.” perfect sense right? the next line "another dilemma, just a phase. over it now, finally. i can be OK." is pretty self explanatory. hes had problems and got over them, there will always be more but hes trying his best.
