Ok people, let me lay it out for you. I was listening to the radio just before this song came on and it kind of explained it a little bit. The reason the band is called Secondhand Serenade because John Vesely would write the songs and sing them for his wife and the rest of the people would get the Secondhand of the song. So. He sang this song for his wife because they were on and off. Which is obvious by his previous songs. So this song is to his wife from him. By saying "fall for you again," he doesn't mean that he ever stopped loving her. I had a similar experiance with my ex girlfriend while we were still dating when I just had a renewed feeling of immense love that wouldn't go away. It's like having the feeling of love at first sight over again.
