I am truly in love with this song and for myself, the meaning isn't as direct as one would commonly think this track is about. Its easy to see the undirect religious sentiment here, but I believe there is no real intention of that at all.
In my perspective of the lyrics, the band is speaking to their core audience including the band as well when accusing "we are reborn".
As metal fans we commonly accompany our love of the genre with lyrics of no hope, faithlessness, and brutality. "The catacombs" which is fine and has a rightful place as important subject matter. But dwelling on injustices and living dead will not set us free.
From my grasp of the lyrics, they are talking about the universe on a grand scale and being thankful to be apart of such a magnificent creation. And "Our Translucent forever" as its meaning within the story of the lyrics means looking up to the stars through our translucent atmosphere staring directly into forever. That gift alone breathes new life into loving everything within our biosphere.
