For some reason it makes me think of a long distance relationship, possibly dating someone abroad, "she's so far away", and the difficulty of it as is quite apparent and true to most relationships with distance.
Alternatively it could be about drug use, someone soldiering through their addiction, makes their head spin. Makes it difficult for people to relate. Maybe I'm clutching at straws. But still... For some reason I like the song, it has meaning without saying much.
