Little things by one direction means a lot to me. I think it is saying that you might think that looking different isn't a bad thing it just means that you are simply unique, like Harry once said "it takes just a second to tell a girl shes fat but she will spend her whole life starving herself" and Harry's part in this song says "I know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape, you never want to know how much you weight, you still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you're perfect to me." So I think that they are saying just because you don't like something about your self doesn't mean that nobody else does. And some of the boys once said they like girls that are curvy.
