This song, "Astrud" by Basia is a tribute to one of her inspirations. Astrud Gilberto is a Brazilian samba singer from the '60s. Basia makes a reference to one of the songs she sings in the lyrics i.e. singing "Fly Me to the Moon". Astrud has influenced Basia's music and the song is done with samba elements to represent this. Beautiful vibe and melody.
