There are a few little things wrong with these lyrics that actually make a huge difference (I corrected them, so they should be up within 2 days of me writing this. This is one of the few songs I've seen that, to me, show that Austin either really is a Christian or really pretends like it sometimes. The distorted vocals here basically represent what God is saying ("I'm coming down to show you how to live with my own hand," "I've been waiting to show you life more abundantly," "I'll show you grace like you've never seen," etc.) and the clean vocals (the chorus) is Austin's internal struggle with his sin. His "inner me" keeps fighting to do what's wrong, while he wants to do whats right (the apostle Paul had a whole chapter on this. "What I want to do, I don't do, and what I don't want to do, I do.). Also, one of the corrections I made had to do with some very important punctuation. The bridge is something like "Roll with the pack: my God (and my Son on the next line) who will make all things right again! " He's saying, basically, to jump on God's (and His Son's) bandwagon, since they will one day come back to rule the earth and "make all things right again. " I had heard that Austin was a Christian, but this song was a stunningly vocal showing of that belief system that I had not seen from him before I heard this song. God bless.
