This song is about how good life was in the Miss. Coastal town of Pascagoula in the mid 50s & the 60s (amen!). The creosote plant on the Singing River, emited quite a smell as you rode over the S. Are. Toll bridge that seperates Pascagoula-Gautier(Go-shay). The crazy 'Ole uncle and aunt in the Antebellum house had to be the Gautiers. The house was beautiful, Spanish moss on old oaks, great place for a tire swing! Those trees were everywhere on the coast before Camille & Katrina. This song is full of things that makes a 'Goula girl homesick!
