In the past people thought there were supernatural anthropomorphic immortals who looked after the world.
We now know that the reason crops grow is becouse of our knowledge of agriculture.
Perhaps in the future we could sing -
We plough the fields and scatter
The good seed on the land,
But it is fed and watered
By our knowledge of agriculture:
925 million people do not have enough food to eat —more than the populations of Canada, USA, and the EU. Yet the planet can produce enought food if required.
