I was married to a muslim man for 15 years. I was 17 when I married him. I am 33 now. He physically and mentally abused me for years. This song gave me the courage to love myself enough to leave. The love will always be there for him, he is my first and only true love but I learned to love myself more than I loved him and I now know I didn't deserve that. This song represents my strength.
