Not just old people I get that it hits older generations harder because they where raised to belive that girls have to be "sugar and spice and everything nice" but if you look around you it's not just old people who think "women should learn their place" but a vast majority of the people in day to day life and in power today even other countries and so I believe this song is to every body who thinks anyone be it man or female has to be in there set spot and do what is expected of them regardless of what they are feeling or what they think is expected but do what the f*k makes them happy

No obviously this song is about being molested by her father and only wanting his love and attention not realizing at the time how much she'd have to give up for that love and attention and wanting to tell but having that fear of telling so she keeps thinking "I have to hold my tounge" and yet still having to do what he wants when he wants if she wants to be "daddy's little girl"
