What I think this means is that a boy loves this girl but she doesn't see what hes gone through for her. She lies to him and he wants her to b in his shoes so she feels what he feels but still wants to b with her and he wants God to change her ways. But later on I'm pretty sure he leaves her and he wants it to seem like its her fault "She brought this on herself". Idk that's what I think.
