To me, the meaning is the about our loving Lord. Through Christ and his grace he's extended his forgiveness to those that accept his gift. One lesson learned on our journey is humility, that we are not perfect, and we need him. God's words to us, the scriptures, are what we should hold dear to our hearts and ponder often in our thoughts to show us the how to live and seek salvation. Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice.
