For me, this song is a reminder to not focus on self and keep God's glory first at hand. A remembrance of His goodness and promises which draws me nearer to Him. And I truly began to worship because He's always there and has simply said (Jer 29: 11) that He has plans for me. So though things may look so torn up and my life may seem torn down because of bad circumstance I thank Him in advance for His promises.
