"
your home?
How'd you end up all alone?
Can you hear me now?
There's no light, there's no sound.
Hard to breathe, when you're underground.
Can you hear me now? Hear me now
Look into my eyes
Danny in this case is using metaphors. He's asking someone "where'd you go" and "where's your home," along with "how'd you end up all alone?" Then continuing to ask them if they can hear him. Light is used as a metaphor, as well as sound; it's used to create a feel of emptiness; and being underground is also a metaphor, for being under all the time. Then, he continues to ask people if they can hear him. That's my view point.
