This song was disappointing to me. I'm a christian and I do not agree with this messege at all. There are so many ways we can look at the way this song was written and come up with a whole bunch of reasons as to why she wrote this song and the meaning. But the meaning is pretty clear. We all know what she's saying. Either way if you try to change the meaning to make it sound good its not! I mean even if she's talking about a boy that she loves that betrayed her it was not a good analogy to use Jesus in that way.

To me this song does not make much sense. I mean I understand the point she's saying but if she's saying to love yourself just the way you are then why is she saying its okay to be tranvestite. I mean seriously if you were born a man you should love that you are a man and not try to be something you're not. The whole point I'm saying is that this song is a lil confusing with the messege she's trying to point out.
