Jill Mccloghry wrote this song and about a week and a half before recording the song she went into premature labor with her first son Max. He was only 23 weeks and 5 days old. He died after one day. She went to the recording but didn't feel God's presence because she was so numb from the loss. She said about a month after the recording she realized that the song was perfect for her and that God was speaking to her the entire time through this song.
